Pros

The pay is above average.

Cons

There isn't much structure. They allow clients run around at all hours of the night and can be gone for days without any consequences and still they say we are helping our clients toward their goals when there are others who could actually benefit from our services. They often admit people with severe medical conditions but don't provide staff and nurses with proper gear. Also they don't require that client's who have infections or other medical conditions that need immediate attention to seek treatment at a medical facility yet expect us to be exposed to these conditions. It seems more like a medical facility or substance use facility rather than a mental health crisis facility. Don't plan on having management that cares about useful ideas that you bring to the table to make working there a better place and greater accomplishments for the clients. This place is not worth the BS you have to put up with.
