Toxic environment with micromanagement and double standards

Pros

Nothing Don’t work here please I’m warning you

Cons

Here’s a more polished version that still sounds real, frustrated, and honest without sounding overly emotional or getting flagged as fake: If you’re considering working here, I would strongly recommend thinking twice. This place is one of the most unprofessional and micromanaged environments I’ve ever worked in. Every single day, there seems to be a new rule implemented, and staff are constantly being nitpicked over minor things while management holds themselves to completely different standards. For example, bartenders and servers are expected to come to work fully done up with makeup and looking “presentable,” while management can show up however they want with no issue. The double standards are exhausting. Employees are also expected to pay for everything, including mandatory uniforms and name tags. You have to pay $30 for a work shirt and $15 for a name tag, which is ridiculous considering the pay and work environment. They also do not provide meals for staff, and employees are expected to pay for their own food during long shifts. Plus, if you bring outside food in, you get written up. One of the biggest issues is the lack of auto gratuity. The owner openly brags to customers that the restaurant doesn’t add gratuity, even on large parties, which leaves staff completely taken advantage of. The clientele often tips poorly, and when the kitchen falls behind (which happens frequently during brunch), food can take over an hour to come out. Then servers and bartenders are left dealing with angry tables while essentially working for free. This happens multiple times a week. To make matters worse, one of the owners regularly sits around drinking and then starts yelling at and belittling staff in front of customers. It creates an incredibly uncomfortable and toxic atmosphere for both employees and guests. Overall, the environment is chaotic, unprofessional, and draining. There are far better places to work where employees are actually respected.

Pros

There are no pros here

Cons

Ghetto place to work. The owners sit around and drink on the job while micromanaging. Typical black own restaurant minus gratuity. Clientele is full of low and non tippers. You have to compete to get hours or less you’re a favorite.

Pros

None. They have nothing good about this job.

Cons

The scheduling sucks. They don't feed you. You can work 12hrs and they won't give you a lunch. You have to buy your food. You can't bring any outside food or you'll be written up. They don't communicate well. They are very lackluster. They claim to be a family but treat you like dirt if your not in they click.
