Cons
* Peak micromanagement culture across teams. * No proper upskilling, mentorship, or technical training is provided to employees. * Employees are forced to work under constant pressure and unrealistic timelines in the name of “startup culture.” * Long working hours and extra effort are neither compensated financially nor balanced with leaves or time off. * The amount of “vibe coding” you do without applying actual engineering thought seems to determine how much value you get in the company. * Instead of technical discussions or problem-solving, the default response from management is “use Claude or GPT for validation.” If an LLM could completely solve the issue, there would be no reason to escalate it to senior engineers or tech leads in the first place. * Several people in management lack proper technical understanding yet confidently invalidate industry-standard best practices and proven engineering approaches. * The tech lead is rarely available when actually needed, avoids calls throughout the day under the pretext of being “busy,” and contributes very little technically. * Favoritism is clearly visible, with support often going toward people who flatter management rather than those doing meaningful work. * Technical merit, ownership, and practical engineering decisions are often ignored in favor of hierarchy and politics.
