Pros

There are far to many organizations that claim to be about the culture during an interview just to show you that culture is only about performance when you accept the job. Not here. From the CEO to an entry level position, PowerPay ignites a feeling of empowerment, ownership, conviction, and joy in the work and the people we surround ourselves by.

Cons

Growing company so lots of project pivoting but that is to expected as the company grows rapidly and finds its footing.

PowerPay's commitment to innovation leads to a dynamic and evolving work environment. While this can be exciting, it may not align with every person's preferred work style!

Pros

A tiny pay check that hopefully covers a bill or two.

Cons

*Expensive and terrible health insurance. Good luck finding coverage outside of Philly. *HR has a habit of sharing info that should not be shared. They also take about 48 hours to respond to emails - if they respond at all. *HR declared that MLK was not a real holiday in a public Slack channel. When they were informed that they were incorrect, they made no correction and it is still up today. *The CEO is very disliked by the company as a whole and has temper tantrums and uses profane language during meetings. The CEO often has no clue how anything works. *The CEO once had a meeting with a department and literally said nothing of relevance and had no real answers to questions. The entire department was left dumfounded at how useless the meeting was. It created more questions and low moral. *Speaking of moral, most of the company is openly looking for other work as this company is whistleblower away from collapse. *The inner workings of this company are alarming and I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up on some sort of exposé documentary Take this as you want, these are just factual experiences.
