I really think the company believe a little too much in fengshui. The only thing you need to believe in is your own people. :)
Timelines for some projects are indeed quite tight, but you can't deny the bosses don't do anything for the people too. They are humans and they can get really busy dealing with matters out there which employees are unaware of. At least they bother to build a gym or buy food for you to eat?
Truth to be told, yes, Plus65 is not the best firm to work for, but it is definitely not the worst one either. Ask yourself this, how many firms out there have you worked for where you truly feel happy? I am glad that this is not the worst firm I have worked for as I had been through worser ones. It is easy to point out something we do not like about a company. I’m sure everyone in every company has one or two things they do not like about the company they worked for. But be appreciative for every thing you learnt, and every opportunity that comes by, for it happened for a reason.
If you have moved on to pursue another role out there, then I wish you all the best. Likewise for me, I have moved on too. But till this date, I honestly think I may not get the same family feeling I get over here, but life goes on. All I can say is, try your best to be like a family anywhere you work. Support one another. Enable teamwork and disable politics. The stronger the bond of the family, the lesser the chances of politics occurring in the firm. Lastly, let's just wish Plus65 all the best. For all the new people joining Plus65, focus on spreading positive mindset. Help build a good environment. Sometimes it's not about choosing a good environment, it's about making that environment better than it is before.
