Very Type-A work environment with poor management
Pros
Beautiful office space (in Toronto) Fun perks like cute swag and take-home items from constant events Competitive salaries Leadership at top is female (in Canada) Diverse teams
Cons
My time here was not the best. I worked in a non-endemic vertical so unfortunately, it was a tougher sell and often times, we were an afterthought on client media plans with very little budget. I thought working for a reputable and globally known platform would mean that it would be an easy sell, but this was the opposite experience for me. As mentioned, my vertical was a tougher and more challenging sell where it was really hard to measure performance and KPIs, making it tough to retain business/win more budget. and there was a crushing amount of pressure to deliver results. A lot of the people I worked with were ex-Meta, ex-Google, ex-Amazon etc. which, in my experience, lead to working with some very intense and type-A personalities. While nice and seemingly friendly, I found the working environment to be very clique-y and lacking in sincerity. This is coming from the type of person who can get a long with almost anyone. Some of the men on my team were out of touch and misogynists' at times, which I found hard to bare.
