Pros

Pay is ok but not great no incentive to go above and beyond People are nice to work with

Cons

Poor office location if commuting on public transport anywhere but Leeds Centre Minimal pay increases no incentive to do more especially when business is posting record recoveries. Lack of flexibility - unwilling to discuss 4 day working week with no real explanation other then ‘doesn’t fit our business model’. Increasing mandatory days in office. Multiple increases in last year. They state this is to increase engagement/productivity. This depends on team/individual and shouldn’t be top down. My team do nothing special on office days, rarely have meeting in office and when we do still on Zoom due to others not been in office.

Pros

*some* staff were lovely. Free parking.

Cons

So toxic to work in. Management only care about money and disregard staff mental health. 1 hour a MONTH for ‘off the phone time’ which included training AND mental health time (i.e. therapy). Only allowed 5 minute comfort break after being abused on the phone and having a panic attack. Told to go straight back on phones after dealing with distressing calls. Absence/ sick policy is abhorrent. Management think you’re lying so will interrogate you when you phone in sick and try to get you to come in anyway by offering to change to a later shift. Got asked to prove a relative was unwell to be able to take time off. They will take your bonus away for a YEAR for having more than 4 occasions of absence in a year, regardless of how many days this equates to (i had 2 half days and 2 full days off). Got messed over trying to leave the company by being made to pay back holiday hours. Don’t ever work here - your mental health is so much more important!!

I am sorry that your experience with us wasnt a positive one. We always strive to support our staff in every way possible whether it be utlising the mental health first aiders, employee assistance programme or YuLife. If you would like to provide some specific feedback that would really help.
