Fast paced startup with plenty of learning

Pros

This company is transitioning from startup to scaleup and presents the opportunities and challenges that come with it. If you're looking for a place with rapid cross-functional learning, and ambitious targets, this could be the place for you. There is a stress on overall business success - revenue and costs - across functions. This pushes people to think beyond their limited job description - something very unique to this company. Even middle management roles tend to come with a lot of responsibility, and people with a high ownership mentality tend to be successful. With plenty of new product lines planned and goals to scale horizontally and vertically, the company is set for a critical 2024.

Cons

The transition stage means the company is witnessing rapid change, and fast. Things can feel chaotic, and it's important to be okay with change. There is an effort to build systems and processes, which will take time. It takes a high agency mindset and adaptability to feel at home in this startup.

Pros

Ottimate has some of the best people I’ve worked with—hardworking, collaborative, and genuinely invested in the company’s success. The culture is fast-paced and ambitious, but there’s a strong sense of support and camaraderie that makes it a great place to grow. Remote flexibility is a huge plus, and leadership does a good job of sharing insight into company performance, which helps everyone stay aligned. There aren’t a lot of silos, so cross-functional work feels natural and encouraged.

Cons

Like any scaling startup, things move fast and priorities can shift—but that also brings plenty of opportunity for growth, ownership, and meaningful impact if you’re proactive and adaptable.
