        The Analyst Development Program hire new university graduates and train them on the software from the ground up for 3 months. Experienced consultants are friendly, knowledgeable and very willing to provide support/guidance. Regardless of which office you work out of, there are many resources in the Professional Services team that are willing to help you out. Hours are flexible and there are opportunities to work from...

        Cons

        Communication and direction from management is very poor and expectations are unclear. Most consultants are overworked, under appreciated and discouraged to take vacation. Consultants are given more projects than they can handle and are quickly burnt out. Management shows time after time that they do not care about employee development or growth and turnover is very high as a result.

          - the work/life balance was good - the work that I did was just the right amount of challenge

          - performance appraisals were infrequent and unpredictable and any sort of pay augmentation was not tied to them so when they did occur they were also infrequent and unpredictable - there was no effort to train or assist employees with skill development or to help them to take on higher roles in the organization - since it is a very large organization, you definitely were a cog in the wheel and it led to a very impersonal...

          - provide more opportunities for job skill development and for mentoring into higher positions within the organization - SSO is not SSO at all - have actual people and not just relay email addresses for people to use when employees encounter problems - get rid of performance appraisals if they're not really taken seriously as a mechanism for benchmarking
