Pros

- Great Client Relationships: The primary highlight of my time here was the opportunity to work directly with an excellent client. The technical experience and exposure gained from the client’s side were highly valuable. - Night Shift Autonomy: If you are lucky enough to be placed on the remote night shift, it provides good morning flexibility and shields you somewhat from internal company management.

Cons

- Extremely High Turnover & Toxic Culture: Good people are frequently pushed to leave due to HR and management practices. Leadership is openly indifferent to employee retention and treats staff as disposable resources rather than valued contributors. - Lack of Proper Onboarding: While the company claims to have a training system, in reality, new graduates and hires are thrown directly into the fire. The responsibility of mentoring and onboarding falls entirely onto existing team members. Worse, management frequently asks senior staff to misrepresent the experience levels of new hires to clients, forcing existing team members to cover the workload. - Disconnected Leadership & Unfair Reviews: Management has zero visibility into day-to-day operations. Teams often work independently with the client, doing heavy lifting that goes completely unrecognized. Managers are rotated constantly, and because they don't understand the daily work, performance reviews are highly inaccurate and unfair. - Shifting Appraisal Metrics: The requirements for promotions and raises change constantly. Goals are altered right before the end of the appraisal cycle (e.g., suddenly requiring unpaid weekend hackathons instead of certifications), which effectively blocks career progression. - Poor Hardware for Engineers: Developers are expected to run heavy technical workloads (such as large Docker images) on outdated, low-specification equipment. Requests for critical hardware upgrades are routinely ignored or dismissed. - Disrespect for Work-Life Balance: The company has very little respect for personal time. Mandatory town halls are scheduled on weekends/days off, and overtime compensation is non-existent. Physical office conditions are equally difficult, characterized by loud noise levels and a heavy smell of smoke. - Administrative and Insurance Chaos: Shifting health insurance providers frequently causes massive administrative hurdles, leaving employees unable to access necessary medications due to pre-existing conditions not being registered properly.
