Disengaged Leadership

Pros

Friendly co-workers, decent benefits. Company tries to engage remote employees

Cons

The Operations team is currently facing significant organizational challenges. Leadership promotions often appear to be based on personal relationships rather than merit, leading to a lack of confidence in the management structure. The VP remains largely disengaged from the broader team, rarely interacting with employees (especially remote employees) or offering visible support. Middle managers frequently defer even basic questions to senior leadership, suggesting they may not be fully equipped or empowered in their roles. Despite ongoing concerns, HR has not taken meaningful action to address these issues. As a result, it's understandable that sales team members continue to express frustration with the support and direction they receive from the team.

Pros

Great technology that is better than competitors.

Cons

-The CRO was so toxic that he caused numerous sales & marketing leaders to begin taking anti-anxiety meds for the first time. Ultimately he drove many to leave ModMed, despite quota achievement and good comp. -HR and Senior Leadership ignored the red flags & reports of severe burnout. -That CRO died this week of a massive heart attack at 46 years of age - 1 month after ModMed was successfully acquired for $5.3B. He was pushing himself even harder than he pushed us.
