      Deceptive and Toxic Culture

      Pros

      Great place to learn as it is a busy and holistic Optometry clinic.

      Cons

      The boss is an absent, emotionally-unregulated and untrusting micro-manager who allows irrelevant gossip and personal agendas to run rife in management, and then all the way down. People don't enjoy working there and feel underpaid and unvalued. The staff turnover is crazy high. There is a culture of secrecy that breeds insecurity, pain and resentment. Also, a staff member got COVID and they didn't tell the team.

      Cons

      Senior employees can bully others with impunity and management turns a blind eye. Gossip, back stabbing and rumours are abound in this office - and management does nothing (because they love the drama?)

      Nice decor, nice location, some nice Dr's

      Cons

      I turned down an excellent opportunity elsewhere due to location here and them begging me to join LVO. Very unpleasant atmosphere after about a week, some very nice front end staff whom I will miss. One of the most unpleasant places I've worked. Very high turnover, always interviewing but not hiring.
