Pros

Unlimited PTO (CFO takes advantage of this often and is on vacation more often than at work) Flexible work schedule (when rounds are not happening)

Cons

Toxic work environment produced by LCCM Management Constant restructuring of teams and clients due to lack of knowledge in business acumen Lack of knowledge and connections in the SBIR world Poor pay for Proposal Support Coordinators ($45,000). There was a recent boost in pay to $65,000, but it is still below industry standards. This shows lack of knowledge on management's part in the industry to understand and value their employees. Capture Strategists make $130K per year; however, Proposal Writers only make $65,000-and PCs help bring in the money with the proposals they write and submit In the last six months, 18 employees (these are also top employees performing at high-levels as per the prior review), have quit due to unhealthy and toxic work environments. CEO said that there is a "Great Resignation" happening within LC. He isnt incorrect, but what he fails to understand is the great resignation is due to the way the company is ran and how the employees are treated. Happy employees dont quit....

Pros

— Holidays off if you submit PTO request AND it gets approved. — Remote work. — Flexible schedule.

Cons

— No room for growth even for top performers who meet upper management’s unrealistic demands. — No compensation increase for longevity with the company. — Salary is less than industry standard. — When they gave bonuses they were all over the place even though high dollar amount was promised for compensating lower than standard salary. — No overtime pay, plenty of overtime work. — Expected to work weekends to meet the unrealistic promises management makes to clients. — No job security. — Founder likes to start weekly company meeting talking about himself and how great he thinks he is and how great he’s made the company. — Founder blaming COVID for mass employee exit. Over half the employees are gone since Feb 2021 (6 month period). Respected employees don’t just leave. — Client enrollment is just as high as Feb ‘21 and management wants it higher even though half the employees are gone. — Upper management changes the business structure every few weeks. — The business wastes money on multiple softwares and makes everyone learn new ones to suit their whim every few weeks. — Proposal Coordinators are treated like second class citizens whose ideas, thoughts, and opinions don’t matter. — Falsely advertises unlimited PTO.

Pros

-Unlimited PTO (Everyone is on vacation so often, work is constantly slowed down) -Management says that half of the employees that left within 6-months all gave "positive feedback"

Cons

Do you enjoy working overtime but not being compensated for it? Do you appreciate having an underqualified manager? Even if you work hard and go above and beyond - you'll still be told you don't deserve fair compensation!
