Pros

Learned a lot about the oil and gas industry.

Cons

Paper checks handed out by the battle ax on Friday's at 5:00 p.m. to make sure everyone stayed the full day. Paper checks. Go figure. Jay is an interesting guy. One minute he's funny and joking around, the next he's up your backside about some issue he created and why haven't you fixed it. He also has delusions of grandeur. Lots of fairy tale meetings. Primary issue is no medium or long term planning. 30 days is long term planning due to business and personal burn rates. Humiliates most employees at one time or another in front of the entire company.

Pros

Good Pay, Free Coffee, Free Water

Cons

Management frequently spoke negatively about the owner’s wife, stating that she was difficult because she was firm, direct, and held employees accountable. There were daily venting sessions among management regarding the owner’s wife. Monday morning meetings were required for all employees, seemingly so the owner and his wife could monitor attendance. Friday afternoon meetings were also required for all employees, seemingly for the same purpose: to see who was present and who headed out early on a Friday.
