Great Job, Okay Managment
Jan 6, 2020 - Community Support Worker in Armstrong, BCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The job's great. The persons served are amazing, there are great co-workers, and it's pretty easy to get full-time hours even as a casual.
Cons
Some managers will force you to work double shifts if someone comes in, or have you frantically calling other staff to come in, instead of doing the job themselves. It's not unusual for staff to work 17+ hours straight. The company's great, but things can be competitive because of the way things are set up.
