Pros

Great entry - level to mid-level personnel. Good place to learn. Worked with an amazing group of talented individuals.

Cons

Favoritism is 100 percent the reason to stay away for this job. You will not be a success here unless you are either a preferred employee or have a knowledge far and above your current level. There are many people who work really hard and never get the needed recognition. Many employees who do not have work are valued more than the employees who work.

That's a big no

Pros

Offered benefits include parking allowance, and other benefits.

Cons

This job would require working on weekends and you don't have a choice but to do so. Things should always be in good condition and that's what you're expected to do. You'll have no time for yourself and your family and that's a big no.

You're 100% right about working weekends, it sucks and almost nobody wants to do it. For that reason, we've been very intentional over the last year about reducing after hours support calls and about making it worthwhile, money wise, for anyone who is on-call. Our on-call improvements are not perfect, but we're constantly working to make on-call better. Your feedback, along with other comments and ideas we've heard, has helped us make some major changes over the last several months. Our goal is that nobody ever feels like you felt about not having time for yourself. The IT Industry is a double-edged sword when it comes to on-call, after hours and weekend work. While few like to do it, I think everyone realizes it's necessary sometimes and nearly every IT job I've seen has some sort of on-call. We're always trying to make it a little easier on people and feedback helps. Thanks for your feedback. Mahalo, Sam Gridley CEO

Wow, thanks for the great feedback! I've been in this business for a long time, but it never gets old hearing good comments like yours. I couldn't agree more that the commute on H1 is a definite "Con". But with our current hybrid remote/in-office work schedule, I hope that has improved for people. Through the pandemic, we've kept all the parking passes for our employees, so hopefully having easy parking downtown has alleviated some of the stress of the commute. Thanks again for your feedback and keep the comments and ideas coming, we love it. Mahalo, Sam Gridley CEO
