Pros

Once a year, they buy you expensive cocktails to make it seem like they know your name.

Cons

Here is a list of actual things that have happened here: - CEO hired an accountant who, as was found out upon performing a simple google search, is a known convicted identity theft felon. This person embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars and stole our personal information, bank account numbers, and SSNs, and now all of us have to have identity theft protection for the foreseeable future. Employees were not given any direction as to how to proceed or any apology. - CEO told a technician to shave his beard so he "didn't look so Jewish." - CEO re-hired two technicians who had actively worked to harm the company's reputation and actively lied in their previous employment. CEO now blames office staff for these technicians' faults. - When called for a recommendation for a former employee (who had been loyal, pleasant, and effective at their job), CEO said "I wouldn't rehire her" - just for fun. - There is no designated HR person in the office. - There is no official training process, and the employee handbook contains multiple misleading/contradictory statements. - Only women can answer the phones. - Male management and staff second-guess female employees consistently, only trusting a statement when reiterated by a man. - CEO asked if candidates to be hired for a position were "Male? Female? Chinese?" - Employees' medical issues are openly discussed. - CEO invites insurance salesman into office to solicit employees into purchasing his plans. Insurance salesman once handed an employee piece of paper that listed each employee's medical history, including cancer and STDs. CEO is incredibly mean and yells constantly. Shows no concern for employees. Cares only whether or not people are working. Still calls accountant who has worked closely with him for four months "accountant girl." It's OK money, but don't fool yourself into thinking it's worth it. No matter how well you do, this will be a gap in your resume because you can't rely on the management to stick up for you in the slightest.

Pros

Most of the field technicians were awesome. The office staff, there less than 5 years, were pretty cool too.

Cons

"Cover your a.." mentality at all times No loyalty; No advancement; Work at all hours day and night Everyone wants to micromanage everyone else Long term staff (stuck there) joins management in self-serving approach "Incompetent, self-serving, disrespectful micro-manager who couldn't organize a good game of Monopoly" - Goodmenproject.com. Management wants to have their hand in everything - no allowance for job autonomy or self-improvement. This company is only as good as the present moment in the management's eyes. Office staff members that have decided to stay in the toxic boil, adapt to the negative atmosphere by becoming part of the noxious environment. Those that choose to move on then become the target of the management and his "cronies". Stand clear of the company, at all costs. Your health, well being and physical abilities will deteriorate rapidly should you mistakenly believe that you "can handle it".

Worst job I've ever had

Pros

Honestly, the only good thing was getting a steady paycheck every week and being able to leave every day at 4 on the dot.

Cons

Let's see, where to begin... being treated as an extreme inferior by everyone was a big con. seeing your coworkers coming in late every day with no consequence, the techs that never did your job or worked to make your life miserable, the awful supervision... this place was the worst. I cried on my breaks every day. I tried to work hard so that I could feel like I was accomplishing something but that place broke me. The owner is sexist and yells a lot. Your best bet is to find literally any other job than working for this company.
