Hard for them to micromanage You get your own room most of the time You create bonds with your clients Learn the basics of being an esthetician

Cons

They are losing their love of skincare and the efficacy of the skin Tend to hire mangers that never worked for skincare and they have no idea how to manage a spa Terrible job growth Management is terrible

Pros

Coworkers are nice, pay was good if you added enhancements and sold product which was fairly easy. Added new treatments to offer regularly. Worked with good products. Luckily we liked our manager. They don’t micromanage you and let you do your thing. Nice clientele. The shop is very cute aesthetically. Flexible schedule. Pretty easy to get time off or find coverage if needed.

Cons

Recent pay cuts lowered the hourly down to minimum wage and significantly cut our commission. A lot of people are unhappy and leaving. Unfortunately this is going to leave a bad taste in anyone’s mouth who stayed. I don’t image the environment to be motivating, inspiring, or happy after this. Everyone feels like this was a slap in the face and Heyday doesn’t care about them. Just sad …
