Pros

Casual work environment for all departments HR cares very much about employee satisfaction Fantastic perks, great co-workers

Cons

Management is out of touch with daily operations and disregards experienced opinions Constant company politics CEO has tendencies of micromanaging and usually with adverse effects Despite HR communications, CEO often pushes for increased commitments (hours) from employees

Pros

My two favourite things about working here are the autonomy and the people. Autonomy in that they give you freedom and support to try new things, experiment, and fail fast, which makes everyday interesting, As for the people, they're a wonderful mix of great at their jobs and people I legitimately like spending time with.

Cons

Not really a con, but you need to work hard here. It's a lot of fun, and very rewarding but the expectations are high for everyone across the company, so it's important to know that going in.

Pros

- no micromanagement, at all, you can be as independent with your work as you want to be - complete freedom over in office or at home work, pick your preference - every team I have worked with has been a pleasure, really excellent staff across the board - lots of mobility between teams and very supportive of individual interest areas - extremely rare overtime, maybe one day every few months - very respectful of personal time, will generally allow you to take a day off for any reason without prying - good health coverage plans with extra benefits, not outstanding but everything you would need plus some small extras (massage, acupuncture, etc.)

Cons

- a lot of the code base is old or integrates strongly with old code and so maintenance or additional functionality can be a pain - in general they pay slightly below average salaries (~15% lower), though personally the work environment is such a huge upside
