    I have been working at GlobalLogic full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    1) You always have an opportunity to change project inside company. 2) We have had and experience when customer lowered project budget due to pandemic situation in the world, so they were not able to afford a full team, just only half of it. As a result people from our team were allocated to bench, not fired from GL. During one month all of them found another projects inside GL. 3) GL practices Prove of Concept projects and it's really cool. You can join a project or begin a new one and be creative about it, choose technologies which you want to use there etc. 4) GL have a lot of different departments which can provide you any kind of help. Accounting, getting visa, meetups and so on. 5) When countries and cities started to provide more strict quarantine measures GL was very quick and supportive during transition of work from office to home. We were able to get any needed equipment in short terms, established different access in a moment (home networks not secure for big companies). 6) Salary raises. So, mostly it depends on the project, and if you want a raise, you will need to ask about it. Just do you job. If you are working well manager may initiate a salary raise topic before you even ask.

    Cons

    1) Software updates are pain sometimes. 2) GL oriented on outsource, so you should be ready to write low quality code to fit customer requests in time. After release of N-version you will not have any guaranties about refactoring , because customer always will find new features to implement and it will take all the development time. I cannot say that it is a real problem, it's just a specific of outsourcing.

    Can have exposure to a lot of Project Domains and skillsets. Management and HR are people friendly, care about their employees.
