Cons
Lack of structure and workflow: There are no basic workflows across departments, leading to constant operational issues like low inventory and unfilled roles and high turn over. Poor management: Leadership seems good on paper but lacks the capability to execute a well-organized retail business. There is little to no accountability and everyone seems lost. Management seems to be forward facing as helpful, but behind closed doors they are plotting to put the blame on their team, as they cannot fathom that the issues exists because of their management style on all fronts. High turnover: People quit constantly or are fired over unreasonable situations. Employees are treated as disposable, and there is no investment in team development. Their training Deck was created in 2022 and is outdated, lacks formal processes, and everything is open for interpretation or changes based on who you are speaking with. Toxic culture: A severe lack of basic respect and morale exists amongst most team members (not all). The environment can be incredibly petty, with colleagues willing to make others look bad. Competition will always exist but this is a whole level of people being mean and saying hurtful things regularly to people's faces or behind their backs. A lot of UNHAPPY people work here, and the environment just breeds and encourages bad behaviour, as no correction is ever made. Depressing experience: Despite the beautiful product, the day-to-day reality of working here is chaotic and deeply unhappy. I am so happy I found a role shortly after being there for a year, as the job market is not the best I tried to tough it out as long as I could.
