Pros

Really good employees! Loved everyone that I worked with there.

Cons

The CEO specifically does not know how to run a business. It is failing because of a huge amount of technical debt that he pretends isn't there. No Agile, no CI/CD, no commented code, and the "flagship" products that have no actual income and are not publicly released were all coded by junior developers and interns that were either not paid, or given near minimum wage. After getting an offer at another company and putting in my two weeks, I was promptly fired with a notice to take my experience at the company off of my resume because it was "inaccurate" and my job title was "not in reality" Technical Lead, even though that's exactly what it says in several documents. Overall very unsatisfied and the turnover rate is incredibly high: with 5 employees being fired over the course of a single month, in a less than 10-employee workplace.

Pros

If you are reading this I would be mindful that the majority of positive reviews here are from interns who went through a training program and were then encouraged to review FlapMax on Glassdoor. While they weren't told what to say and their positive feelings are genuine, they do have an incredibly limited view on how the company operates, so it may be beneficial to look at the other reviews from more senior staff members to see how the company operates. Anyway here is my review: Great team on the ground with a lot of passion and dedication. Overall its mission is inspiring but its practices and processes do not reflect its proposed values. Willing to listen to new ideas but fails to launch them with cohesion.

Cons

Poorly organised, overly micromanaged from the top. Terrible communication between departments. Far to willing to resort to punitive action like threats of dismissal or docking pay when a simple conversation would do the trick. Has little to no understanding of how content creation works in regards to time and effort which means the team is often overworked with unrealistic deadlines that could have been communicated earlier. Has lofty goals but is unwilling or unable to leverage the capital to realise them. Nor considers the time needed to strategise and action them. Management could learn to take accountability and realise the buck stops with them instead of deflecting blame outward. Unnecessary reporting processes waste time and are often not reviewed and so are simply done to check a box that serve no material purpose. Management does not respect employee time and will request employees to work after hours or on weekends, and will often do this at the last minute. What's worse is that this will be requested due to a failure in planning or time management from management.

Pros

None. Petty ceo with poor culture

Cons

Everything. Ceo makes people cry on meetings if he doesn't like the lack of progress he causes.
