Pros

Catered lunches on Fridays Most of the people are good Decent place to start your career but do not stay long

Cons

Micro management by senior management, it is clear they do not trust their middle managers. A lot of dodgy politics takes place. Also refuse to give raises when they are earnt.

Pros

Good people in my team

Cons

Reviews on google are all pushed by management to get account managers to get good reviews as they are rewarded with gift cards, owner of first page also owns a company called Removify which removes bad reviews Worst clients I’ve seen working in an agency, 95% of clients that are sold in are not viable and are sold smoke and mirrors by the sales team Most leads for sales that come through are very small businesses with a VERY low budget, there were so many businesses that would come through and haven’t even launched their business/website yet Job is extremely underwhelming and not rewarding because of the state of the clients that come through This agency does not have the clients best interest at heart, it’s all churn and burn, they do not care

Pros

-Most colleagues are friendly and helpful -1 WFH day -there are always snacks in the office -Comfortable new office space (that’s not well-utilised) -Relatively good work-life balance

Cons

-Quantity over quality. Employees are valued only for their productivity based on word count, rather than the quality of the work itself, despite management claiming otherwise. -Management takes extreme measures to monitor employees’ behaviour. Daily word count and time spent on every single task/ meeting needs to be tracked. There is a constant pressure to hit weekly word count goals. It becomes a luxury to produce work that strives to be anything more than bare minimum output. -Inefficient and unreasonable allocation of tasks. Some people are completely overworked but teammates are reprimanded for attempting to help without going through the manager first. -Management turns a blind eye when concerns are voiced out, despite promises to address said concerns. -Employees are treated as if they are disposable, true talent is wasted. Makes the job very unfulfilling.
