Terrible Communication

Pros

All of the staff that actually worked in the Las Vegas location are friendly, fun, cooperative, and good at their jobs. the pay was good for the job requirements, and it was a fun place to work.

Cons

off-site management, social media team, etc, all horribly disconnected. we all found out we were getting fired through an instagram post before the managers even said a word to us. a highly insensitive instagram post with a flying pig on it. they deleted all the comments of complaint. They just recently put up a new instagram post stating that something new is coming to fantasy lab, while we were all told it was shutting down for good. My recommendation? Stay away before they pull the wool over your eyes and trick you too.

Dead-end job

Pros

Nice environment as far as the decor goes. Nice guests. Above-average pay for a non-union position.

Cons

*Super-high standards with a checklist of rudimentary chores that are done just for the sake of doing them. *They reprimand you if you're left having to spend extra time completing your closing routine even though the people who complete it on time are cutting corners that management doesn't see. *Expect you to learn the menu and all the drink recipes but don't offer to pay you for your time, as is standard. *Rather than actually train workers they just fire you if you can't arbitrarily make the cut but they don't tell you that you're fired; they just refuse to schedule you hoping you'll get the message. I opened this place when it rebranded as Colors of Mexico and was, at one point, one of the few people who stuck with it when others were just quitting because of the bleak outlook this place portrayed. After a few months, my shifts went down to once a week and my last day working there they brought me into the office to write me up for something that I tried clarifying I was told to do but they wouldn't change their position on it. After that I was still part of the WhatsApp group and part of the the scheduling app but then they figured out that I was still there months later and took me off. So in other words, I got fired but nobody told me about it. If you want to know how disorganized this place is, look no further than that one example.

Fired Through An Instagram Post

Pros

Flexible scheduling, coworkers we’re always great to work with, meeting different people everyday was fun.

Cons

Off site management was the worst, owners always had input on employees but never any input on the experience they built or on how they could boost sales they instead blamed workers for low ticket sales. They let us know through an instagram post with a pig on it that fantasy lab was closing. Apparently they reopened while former employees were out of jobs and unable to file for unemployment or help due to never even getting termination paperwork.
