Pros
Work life balance is not just lip service, fully WFH option, smart engaged co-workers and supportive team atmosphere.
Cons
There is only a physical office in Vancouver so teammates that work in other locations will need to be 100% WFH.

Pros
The team at Envisio has been really lovely to work with. Everyone is collaborative and looking to help, and the company vision is clear. The "open door" policy is true, and the organization is very flat; as a small company, it's important that all employees can talk and connect, open and honestly, about wins and challenges, and that's very true here. The ability to work from home and have flexible working hours is great, as well - I live over an hour from the Vancouver office, and the choice is mine if I want to make the drive in or not. As most of the team works remotely, there aren't any roadblocks to communication in that sense - everyone works well remotely and supports one another very well. I appreciate the transparency of the leadership team in sharing goals and progress (after all, it's what Envisio does!). It's been a long time since I worked at a company that could clearly articulate what they were trying to do and how they planned to accomplish it.
Cons
I have yet to find any major cons about working at Envisio - I've really enjoyed my time here thus far and look forward to a fruitful future with the company. If I had to choose something, I would say the pay - compared to other tech/SaaS organizations is on the lower side, but there's a trade-off there in having a non-toxic workplace where I feel valued and like I'm able to get things done without being under water all the time.

Pros
I have the privilege of working at Envisio and my experience so far has been nothing short of exceptional. Envisio has not only provided me with a fulfilling and rewarding professional journey but has also cultivated an environment that fosters growth, collaboration, and work-life balance. One of the standout aspects of Envisio is its incredible company culture and focus on transparency, practicing what they preach. During my initial interviews, I met with the CEO who was personable and honest, allowing me to make an informed decision to work here. The emphasis on teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect among colleagues is truly commendable. Envisio recognizes that its success stems from the collective efforts of everyone on the team and they constantly provide ways for us to contribute to the culture to make it better. The company takes continuous improvement seriously and feedback is always welcome and strongly encouraged. Envisio has a team of impressive professionals who are not only exceptionally skilled but also genuinely passionate about their work. Working alongside such talented individuals has been a constant source of inspiration for me. It's an environment that fuels personal growth and encourages innovation. One aspect of Envisio that I greatly appreciate is the strong emphasis placed on work-life balance. The company understands the importance of maintaining a healthy equilibrium between work and personal life. The management team consistently demonstrates their commitment to fostering a healthy work environment through providing flexibility and understanding. Envisio's dedication to excellence in the govtech industry is evident in its relationships with its customers. The entire team is genuinely proud when customers accomplish their strategic goals. The company has made significant strides in transforming government operations and helping the public sector become more transparent and accountable. The impactful work we do at Envisio makes a difference in the communities we serve, and it's incredibly fulfilling to be part of such a purpose-driven organization. Pros: - Exceptional company culture that fosters teamwork and open communication - Talented and passionate professionals who inspire personal growth - Strong emphasis on work-life balance - Impactful work with a focus on transforming government operations - Visionary leadership driving innovation and success
Cons
- As with most smaller companies, some roles have responsibilities that may not be typical compared to similar roles at larger companies. This may not be something that everyone prefers but personally, I enjoy learning and pitching in when needed so it's really a plus for me. - I honestly cannot think of any significant cons worth mentioning. Envisio sets the bar high in terms of employee satisfaction and overall work experience.

Pros
There are some coworkers with good intentions.
Cons
Toxic is not even the right word to describe the environment here, it's more like radioactive. Management style is top-down. There is no room for other opinions since hurting the egos of leadership is not an option. They say they value trust and transparency, but that is only for their customers, and it is not how they view or treat their staff. There is also a fair amount of gossip going on. There are many good small start-ups out there that do care about their employees. However, Envisio does not represent this segment well. It just suits the typical stereotype of problems one might imagine if one were to work for a start-up or small company.

Pros
The company as a whole is incredibly supportive. Doesn't matter what team you belong to, everyone is will to lend a hand or offer a suggestion to help. This behaviour is passed down from the leadership team. The leadership team at Envisio is one of a kind, filled with incredibly bright and talented individuals. I would like to specifically single out the Director of Sales and the and the VP of Marketing. These two individuals are some of the most talented folks I have ever worked with in my career. The leadership is second to none and inspires incredible team performance. Envisio has attracted top talent and will continue to do so. The folks that have been with the company and the ones that have just recently joined are the backbone of Envisio's success. Envisio has a bright future ahead of them. If you are looking to join an innovative company and grow your skills, this is the place for you.
Cons
Depending on where you are based when working, responsibilities and duties can sometimes extend beyond your regular working hours. Due to the small nature of the company it is possible that employees can get easily burnt out.

Pros
I was lucky enough to come across Envisio, and was my first experience at a Saas company, and in Canada. Envisio has a highly supportive, and family environment where you have the freedom to express your views, and have enough autonomy to work the way you want to. A big thanks to Madison Dias (Director of Sales), who not only onboarded me to the role but also to a new country, and always helped me to get better at my job. Envisio has a fantastic solution to help local governments, and education sector to manage their strategic plans, and performance management and I only see an upwards trend in that market as governments are becoming more agile, and technology friendly. The targets set for salespeople are achievable, and I was able to achieve that consistently with the support of my peers. Also, I got to attend some very high-level discovery calls with top administration officials at local governments.
Cons
It might be hard to believe but there is no cons that I can think of.

Pros
Envisio is a company that offers a great product at heart. Its aspirational cloud-based solution pushes for local governments to become more transparent and accountable. The company has a family environment and offers some growth opportunity. The employee count is rather stable, with new hires coming in as people leave. They offered some flexibility as the companies were forced to work remotely, but the work hours are rather strict (8-5 style). You are not required to take work home, which is uncommon in today's tech companies. The onboarding process is very natural and allows for employees to explore and feel confident with their sales style.
Cons
There is room for improvement in how the sales team is managed. Employees could perform to the minimum (4 calls a week), on an ongoing basis. It is true that calls are not the only performance metric that is valuable, but the # of meetings scheduled continued to decrease over time, resulting in a sales pipeline that was absolutely depleted after months and months of lack of management. This is very sad, as the company itself is a great place to work and the people are friendly, but as a salesperson who is not bringing enough money home, it is difficult to argue staying in this company for a long time. If you are a top performer, it is hard to be motivated in an environment that rarely pushes the team to do their best. Another improvement they could work on is for sales managers to not hold account executive positions, as this results in a conflict of interest. Not because the sales managers intend to do wrong or take over some deals, but their individual commission-driven incentive can get in the way. The purpose of this feedback is for management to consider areas for improvement so that they can bootstrap the sales team and get what the company wants - fulfilled employees that stay for long. The offboarding process is terrible, and even if you have a deep appreciation for the company, the way they talk about exceptional former employees is disappointing. They should support their former employees and foster an "Envisio Alumni" culture. More and more companies are realizing the importance of having a good offboarding process. Your former employees can become company's advocates, future clients, or come back with even more ideas for success, but if retaliation is the only response after a person leaves the company, denying for example much-deserved recommendations letters, the whole offboarding experience leaves a bad taste. I do hope that Envisio grows and becomes a successful and scalable business, and it is with best intentions that I leave this review for the executive team.
