Pros

I felt extremely welcomed when I first joined the team and I still love it here. My team is doing a lot of things right and the leader is also very intentional and competent. There are a lot of sweet spots to working at a mid-sized tech company - people at the company know each other and you feel like you have a place at the company where you can make a meaningful impact. The culture is great and they try to be inclusive of remote employees while also making it fun in-office. I highly respect the fact that we will be remote indefinitely and that employees won't be forced to go back into office. We have quiet hours (no meetings) from 12:30-2pm EST every day so we can eat lunch and also get work done. Unlimited PTO policy is a big plus and people do use their PTO. Over 50% of our C-suite is female, and a lot of our managers are working moms. The career progression at this company is noteworthy, and I've seen individual contributors become managers within 5 years of working here. It does seem like a great place to work long-term.

Cons

There may be a lot of turnover at the moment, but every organization is experiencing that. One plus is that we have a lot of boomerangs - people who used to work at iCIMS are coming back to work here too. Unlike other companies, I don't think there are going to be layoffs, especially since we just landed another investor. Our ERG's aren't as established or robust yet, but I'm sure that will be improved in the future. Diversity in terms of the number of minorities hired could be improved as well, but the environment has been very inclusive which is the more important part. There aren't any opportunities for stock (unless you're at a high level), and the 401k match isn't very high (also takes a long time to vest).

Pros

My team was very committed to our customers and very collaborative with each other. Everyone was kind to each other, and historically there had been opportunities for mentorship and career development.

Cons

Unclear expectations from leadership. We always felt like we were trying to play catch up with how things were changing. We also always felt like we were underpaid.
