Pros

Staff travel. Meet nice colleagues. Lots of holiday allowance. Can choose your base. Free water bottles.

Cons

Bidding system is so faulty, the summer and Christmas holidays will be red by the time you log in to the system so leave is good if you fancy a holiday in February or November. Preferencing doesn’t work. You may ask for earlies, get given lates. Pay is probably the lowest compared to other airlines. Will get angry emails from management if you go sick, even during pandemic. Roster is not stable and can change on report i.e you go in for Amsterdam, but by check in it’s changed to Tenerife. Unpaid leave is a magic unicorn you’ll hear of but never see. Roster is published at 10pm on the 17th every month which does not give a lot of notice should you wish to plan anything for the next month. You won’t be listened to and you voice does not matter i.e look at no-confidency vote regarding the former COO. You are expected to work into your day off. Sickness allowance and sick leave is very stict, making CC go to work when unfit to avoid being penalised.

-Competitive pay and benefits for Malta aviation industry. -Skilled colleagues and opportunities for technical learning.

Cons

-Serious reports of bullying, harassment, and neglect of staff mental health were escalated to top management, but rarely result in action. -The SUSO (Speak Up Speak Out) system does not work as advertised; staff complaints raised through SUSO are ignored or lead to retaliation, not resolution. -EasyJet’s “zero tolerance” policy on discrimination, bullying, and harassment is not upheld—investigations are slow, lack follow-through, and rarely result in change. -Evidence of disability discrimination at the highest levels has been presented; these concerns are dismissed or left unaddressed by senior management. -Employees who report problems or ask for reasonable adjustments face career setbacks and poor treatment. -Overall, morale is very low among those affected by discrimination or who have used internal reporting channels.
