Pros

Good money, nice customers, great training, fun work environment, friendly crew members but some a bit too cliquey having been there together for many years. Mainly younger crew, down to earth, easy to make friends however unlikely to ever fly together again which is sad. Great commission, amazing cheap flights usually at as little as 12 pounds one way (usually some staff travel flights only issued as late as 1 day before the departure date).

Cons

LONG hours, sometimes you may be called off your standby having just done a delayed 13 hour duty the day before. Not allowed to book time off around christmas or new year, you can request unpaid leave but its uncertain whether you will get it. New Cabin Crew members in their first year are not able to book their own annual leave.. it is allocated to you HOWEVER you do have 4 'guaranteed days off' which you can book each month which is what I used to go on holiday in my first year. The uncertainty of your working life from one week to the next but this is probably the same no matter what airline as your roster is published every 6 weeks. Holiday pay is a third of the amount you get deducted from your salary for sick pay, we argued that holiday pay should be the same as the amount you have deducted for sick pay!! Some older crew members can be patronising to the newer cabin crew members as they prefer the people they have worked with for a long time, it is almost like they are looking for you to make a mistake so they can suggest a way to improve to be patronising and show their knowledge... however generally not too many were like this.

Pros

-Competitive pay and benefits for Malta aviation industry. -Skilled colleagues and opportunities for technical learning.

Cons

-Serious reports of bullying, harassment, and neglect of staff mental health were escalated to top management, but rarely result in action. -The SUSO (Speak Up Speak Out) system does not work as advertised; staff complaints raised through SUSO are ignored or lead to retaliation, not resolution. -EasyJet’s “zero tolerance” policy on discrimination, bullying, and harassment is not upheld—investigations are slow, lack follow-through, and rarely result in change. -Evidence of disability discrimination at the highest levels has been presented; these concerns are dismissed or left unaddressed by senior management. -Employees who report problems or ask for reasonable adjustments face career setbacks and poor treatment. -Overall, morale is very low among those affected by discrimination or who have used internal reporting channels.
