Pros

- I genuinely love my job and what I do every day. Is it perfect, no, but it's waaay better than many of the other SaaS companies I have worked for over the years - Fantastic talent and super smart colleagues - Tools, resources and provisions for employees are very good - Employees are looked after and cared about - Brilliant customers who LOVE Zendesk and very happy to shout about it too! - Great product evolution and advancement that is delivering real value for our customers. Recent acquisitions have been very well integrated as well.

Cons

- moving very fast and sometimes this creates silos as people forge ahead - the odd process is over complicated but providing feedback up to management helps to remove administrative burden

Many systems to learn, but this is true for any large company.

Pros

The people you work directly with are nice and the unlimited PTO was nice, and everyone was very chill about you taking time off when you needed.

Cons

It used to be a pretty good place to work but then after Zendesk got acquired everything slowly got worse and worse culture-wise. There were also multiple layoffs and re-orgs that caused a lot of confusion and cognitive debt, all the while management was still expecting more productivity somehow???? With layoffs practically every year and veiled threats about having to use AI more (more how?! There was no direction), working there kind of felt like working with a gun to my head.
