Pros

You have a job and you get paid on time. That's all.

Cons

Don't know where to start... - Management - this is by far the worst managed company I worked for, the management style is based on avoiding making a decision. The director level management I worked with were mostly cowards and liars. Yes, they lie. - Internal platform to manage operations - this is a total disaster. They moved the whole company to a new platform being completely unprepared both, technically and data migration. The result is a complete mess in the system on who reports to who, invoicing, reporting, all commercials... this all has to be done manually and mostly via internal emails. - Trainings and certifications - wipro has a unique and messed up way of forcing people to do training prepared by themselves, and these trainings are a nightmare. Looks like a they hired a first class student and tasked him with preparing a questioner. Then they gonna block you among all the work tools if you will not complete such training. - Bureaucracy - this is beyond everything! I can't give my exact experience as that will point wipro directly onto me while I still work there. - Promotions - they say there is a lot but I hardly met anyone yet who got one. But they do promise and lie a lot about them. - Profits - on company calls you will hear a lot about how good the company is doing and quarter to quarter increase on revenue but this never gets payed out to the employees, or maybe it is but only to C-level. - Employee retention - ... this is a joke and probably the biggest lie of all. The metrics are made up to fake the employee retention. The reality is that lots of people are leaving wipro due to all the above mentioned reason and many more so wipro has a tricky strategy to cover this up and uses the freshly acquired companies to kick the numbers up. The same is used for increasing the market share - the only new employees and customers that come to wipro are thanks to acquiring other companies, and this is happening all the time. - I'm lacking of space to give more reasons to not to work for wipro but can only tell AVOID AT ALL COSTS, unless you like an environment where you will be played fool all the time.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
