Pros

Some great friends and nice people in Dublin

Cons

First and foremost gender diversity in the team was very poor, with 25 males fighting over pastries and wondering why we weren't getting clients. We had been challenged on this by clients and rightly so. Leadership really lacked understanding of innovation, opportunities to grow and the ability to communicate any form of a strategy. Each "MD" jumped ship after a few months when a bag of cash landed their way also, which probably upset things. The overarching brand feel was that Wipro is a body shop and good at outsourcing to India, I think our leadership always had this in mind and ignored any opportunity to grow sales opportunities to open doors to innovation. Dublin was a marketing flagship wardrobe office and handy for layover flights for the golden sales boys. On a personal level, zero opportunity for growth. Having said all that we had some fantastic people in the Dublin team and we all learned a lot from each other (on the bench :) )

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
