Pros

Stable paycheck, some good people

Cons

Management especially in finance are completely useless. There is an incredible difficult promotion path which is fraught with political games and lack of transparency surrounding roles with a 1.5 to 2 year wait period. The culture surrounding work sounds nice but is just an excuse to not pay overtime. They are terrified of lack of loyalty so any perceived lack there of is a threat to your job security. Manager is a real dice roll, you could get a genuinely awesome manager or a loser who only works remote out of country that clearly has no managerial skills or people skills really. Also management has no issue lying to you about pay increase or promotion potential. I've never felt more disprected in my life then when I got my CPA and was told that it doesn't matter in the least.

Pros

Great people, strong brands, and a lot of ownership. I’ve had opportunities to manage large spend portfolios, lead cross-functional projects, and work with teams across Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and R&D. The company invests in development and provides exposure to senior leadership that can help accelerate your career.

Cons

Performance and rewards don’t always feel aligned. High performers can sometimes feel underappreciated, and career advancement can be slower than expected due to organizational complexity and internal politics. Decision-making can also take longer than it should because of the number of stakeholders involved.
