      1. The people at USAA are professional and caring. 2. There are opportunities to advance education in one's respective field. 3. The benefits (medical, PTO, Tuition Reimbursement) are good.

      Cons

      1. If one is not associated with the military, advancement in management is difficult. 2. Internal politics is always present in any culture. 3. It is difficult to advance from a investment service position to management due to need of investment professionals.

      Pros

      Life work balance, great benefit package and nice colleagues. The goal of the company is providing the best service to its members. So, they treat employees the best to encourage them to do the same for members.

      Cons

      Slow IT support, limited interactions with industry. Banking business is not as mature as insurance.
