Pros

Vacation. Very generous vacation and leave policy, which is good as you'll need it. Education Assistance. Desperate to incent employees to further their education. Great employment opportunity for active duty/ex-military.

Cons

A majority of executives are retired military bureaucrats. Those that aren’t were bred from the limited local gene pool. Neither offers much by way of practical experience and leadership is aspirational rather than inspirational As a result favoritism and incompetence is rampant. It describes itself as 'a relationship company' to mask a culture rife with toadyism, nepotism and cronyism. See’s itself as an innovative, market and technology leader when the reality is just the opposite. It’s an insurance company with a bloated call center supported by an expensive product portfolio. Compensation is below market and not competitive resulting in a middling, disengaged workforce.
