Pros

Because it is in San Antonio, Texas where there are a lot of former military and young people looking for work. They force managers to write good reviews in places like Glassdoor to keep up their image. Used to be a preferred employer, but they are clearly losing the battle with their competitors for the best talent. A revolving door.

Cons

Negative politicking, back-stabbing, very cliquish. Managers and Directors are sub par. Change is chaotic, constant and ill conceived. Enterprise goals and objectives are randomly changed, dropped or ignored by front line managers. Major disconnect between who they claim to be and what the culture actually is. Pay is low. Morale is depressing. Brag about annual bonus, but find ways to not pay it to many employees.

Cons

Slow IT support, limited interactions with industry. Banking business is not as mature as insurance.
