Pros

* The org is trying to modernize the tech * Work life balance is usually great

Cons

* Extremely unstable. In 12 months of working here we’ve seen 2 CTOs and now none. * The CPO is very buzzwordy (Words like “experimenting”, “innovation” and others are used in place of any for of scientific analysis) * These are the number of people who were let go from mid 2023 to Jan 2024 broken down in increments: 42+7+15+35. It’s happened 4 times in 6 months and every time they say that it’s the last time. * Leadership cannot make up their mind about outsourcing (it’s bad > it’s good > it’s bad > it’s good) and every time they change their minds they hire people only to fire when they change their mind again. * Revolving doors = “Leadership” * The amount of tech debt is mind boggling. I still have a job but it’s really stressful because it’s unstable. They’ve let a lot of really good people go, and there is a lot of institutional knowledge that is gone for good.

Pros

This place has excellent employees (and some managers) scattered throughout. PTO package is good

Cons

High turnover, management puts you in a box and doesn't care about employee growth unless it's explicitly stated when and how they want it. They dismantled the Rev Ops team (which was the only team keeping the org running smoothly), and handed everything off to Fin Ops. Fin Ops team doesn't care about clean data Employees will wait 6+ weeks before getting a message recognized (let alone actioned) by the Fin Ops team (this is a regular occurrence). As an entire Org: They bought Aktiv Learning in 2022/2023, and have since targeted these employees with lay offs ("we crunched the numbers and now that we know how to do your job, we no longer have room for you on our team")
