Pros

The company is respectful and cognizant of the need for a work life balance. As long as it is. It the fourth quarter they are very flexible with requests for time-off due to vacation and personal needs.

Cons

Training is very limited. Often you will be inserted into a role which you receive no formal training without the support form upper management to properly perform the functions of your job. There is very little opportunity for upward advancement within the company. The company must pay more to an employee who is promoted internally versus an outside hire and the latter is the route which is more frequently taken. The company has suffered very significant losses recently due to the data breach and slow expansion into Canada as a result, costs are being cut wherever possible. The expectations of management have increased while compensation has stayed stagnant. Due to this, upward mobility within the company is very difficult.

Pros

If you are looking for a job that you’ll be a part of a fun team environment, have the ability to learn all about customer “guest” service, retail operations and sales, as well as merchandising even at entry level great opportunity. for such a large corporation I have been pleasantly surprised by how tight knit teams are. applying was okay, there were multiple steps (videos, assessments) but overall not too bad)., phone call and then video questions before hiring.

Cons

Pay isn’t great, but for the market it’s fair. Moving up involves a much larger increase in responsibilities and workload relative to the pay increase.
