Pros

10% off team member discount and team member appreciation discount during select months. Benefits to employees that work 20+ hours after probation period. Volunteer opportunities in the community. Seniority is not a factor in promotions.

Cons

Once they have decided that you are a "trouble" team member, there is no amount of reconciliation that can redeem you. Consistency in punishment is dependent on if they can afford to lose you or not at that given time. They may decide to wait until another replacement is in sights to let you go. If someone leaves without notice, there is no one to cover for that position. They do not think ahead to ensure that all areas have enough trained personal to compensate for emergencies. There are no excused absences for being sick. You're either there or not. You must have medical documentation for chronic conditions to be allowed to be absent for those reasons. The pay is not competitive to their main competitors for the amount of work expected. There motto is "Expect more, Pay less." And they do. Your raise is based on how well the store does as well as how long you have been there. You could be the best worker in the world and get a .30 cent raise at the end of the year if you are new and the store doesn't do well in sales.
