Pros
Get paid to work out in a positive work environment. Great place to work as a part-timer as it has a flexible work schedule. Good culling of workers - employees that have bad work habits (i.e. frequent call-offs) are laid-off immediately.
Cons
Despite being over-qualified myself, promotion from team member level to team leader or ETL is difficult. You stand a better chance being considered if you re-apply for that position at another store. Corporate jobs are centralized in Minneapolis, MN - so no luck with getting into say ... Marketing. Not eligible for health benefits or 401(k) coverage until you have served 1000 hours or equivalent to 6 months.
