Pros

The salary is competitive and the sizeable bonus is a plus. Solid brand recognition makes it easy to approach candidates. The corporate side of the company is organized and roles are well established.

Cons

Stay away form the sales/distribution side of the company. Very unorganized and run by sales managers with no concept of HR or providing a great Candidate Experience. Only focused on sales and treat recruiting the same way. They won't invest in the proper tools to do the job better. A lot of talks from Leadership about improving the recruitment process but they don't want anything to change and will not entertain any suggestions, will only pretend to take notes. Still focused on archaic tactics of recruitment like cold calling numbers from a phone book.

Pros

Holidays off, okay pay, cross train in other areas that are needed

Cons

Managers, doesn’t keep advancement promises, always mentioning room for growth but when the opportunity presents itself they have an excuse for why right now is not a good time to move. Adds training for other departments that are short staffed but don’t compensate for all the different departments calls you are taking. Trying to take PTO is a pain, there are plenty employees so there should be no issues with taking time off
