Not all it's cracked up to be - Anonymous employee Shopify Employee Review

Hey thanks for making time to leave this review. It’s true that Shopify does move fast and sometimes I think all of us (myself included) can feel a bit daunted, even overwhelmed, by everything that’s going on and the constant goals that people set for themselves and their teams. When you’re feeling that way, I hope you’ll take time to meet with your lead to talk things through. Please remember that whilst Shopify does already provide some great resources and strategies to our leads, many of them may make mistakes as they learn how to succeed in their role - just as you may be doing in your own role. Please be thoughtful with your feedback for your lead and if things are still not working between you, even after having a few honest and frank conversations, there are some great strategies and supports that the coaching team or your HR business partner can offer to get you to a better place. If you’re not clear on who your HR Business partner is you can find out on Workday, or a quick ping in the hr and culture channel should do the trick!
