Pros
Shell cares deeply for it's employees, and this reflects in all their policies and decisions taken at an oragnisational level. Health, Safety, Security and Environment are core to their decision making.
Cons
There is no clear path for progression. On paper, there is a 4yr window before you can apply for a role change- but this is not followed across. Your career tangent ends up depending on your current project and immediate manager, and sometimes that can limit your growth and aspirations.
