Pros

Work-life balance is probably the only truly positive side, but if you really care about your career and are not interested in boring audit or compliance project, please, DO NOT consider Protiviti.

Cons

Not a bad place to start for a college graduate but I'm sure after 1-2 years in the company the most competent people become dissatisfied from the lack of initiative from senior management to develop the business and lack of growth opportunities. Therefore, the majority of the talented people tend to leave the company, which is not surprising at all given the miserable benefits & salaries offered.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
