      The best reason to work for Protiviti is the work / life balance, which is very surprising from a consultant firm -- 40 hour week are the norm.

      Cons

      Protiviti seems to be about 5 years behind their competitors. They are trying to make the transition to true consulting, with a focus on implementing their proposed solutions, but they are not quite there yet.

      Great opportunity to grow as an individual based off of your technical and behavioral skillset.

      If you are not assigned to a client, you could be on the bench which will affect your bonus.

      Pros

      Compared to other consulting firms, the flexibility in the management here has been amazing. In my experience, teams do whatever they can to get the job done but also acknowledge that we have lives outside of work and are accommodating to that.

      Cons

      Pay is not competitive compared to other consulting firms and leadership is not as innovative as they could be.
