Our entire company strategy is to placate the egos of upper management. Everyone is terrified of our CEO, and nobody has the confidence to tell him what the real problems are because they’re afraid they’ll lose their high paying job. We’re hiding information from him every week, and then running after what he thinks needs to be done. When things don’t go well it’s the lower level people that get fired or lose bonuses. This leaves you in constant fear of your job and uncertain about the future of the company.
