Pros
Firstly the people - 99% of the office are friendly, personable and make people feel welcome. They create the right environment for people to succeed. Meritocracy - If you perform, it will get notice both financially and promotions will be given. You can progress your career very quickly. Rewards - For people who perform very well in a quarter, an overnight trip is offered and people who excel throughout the year get a long weekend away to places such as Rio or the Bahamas. It is something that not a lot of companies offer to everyone. Excellent opportunity to transfer to international offices throughout the world.
Cons
A recurring theme not just for Michael Page but all recruitment agencies is the long hours, however the role is a sales based job so you get out what you put in. Sometimes the hours worked at Michael Page are excessive and people hang around even if they have nothing to do for fear of being called out as they are leaving "early". The bonus structure is not the clearest or well defined.
