Pros

- team and team culture (but strictly depends into which team you get into, some teams can treat their employees very badly but the job can be great and vice versa) - offices and offices location in London (2 offices - Paddington and Moorgate) - various tasks, job never gets boring - business trips within UK&I mostly, good daily allowance for food and good hotels to stay when a business trip - managers (very depends on each team, some managers are not proficient to manage and lead people) - WFH is not questioned, as long as you do your job on time

Cons

- never know which team members and what kind of manger you get, it may kill all the joy from work - can get a project with difficult and not easy going client, or difficult colleagues with non flexible mentality - too many new processes, constant improvement is good, but not in this ridiculous volume, but it should easy in the future - business trips can be very tiring on site as this is a consulting job, often people are jumping from working full week to a business trip shifts which last 12 hours 3-4 days in a row - assoc PM are expected to do lots of admin job and project management analysis and tasks, almost automation of the tools and too many excel sheets are used - it heavily depends on what Sr PM thinks of you as well which should not be the case, but unfortunately 2 Sr people opinion can be enough your manager to believe them - multitasking is considered as a must which is not good at all (scientifically proven fact) - super fast pace when everything should be done almost immediately, to set priorities and see what has to be done later requires at least 2 years of experience in the team and projects - as in any corporations, lots of ad hoc asks with short notice on top of project urgencies - way too many calls + ad hoc calls and people who lack the ability to keep to the point and finish the call early - lots of back to back calls and almost no time left to do the actual work

Pros

Every group/division can be different in how they treat their employees, but I'd say overall there is very good atmosphere of trust and fairness. There is a strong focus on education, and they reimburse for outside classes taken (Up to 5k/year I think). Benefits are good, and I'd say quite competitive in the market. Good 401K matching (they'll contribute a max of 3% of your 6% or greater). Free drinks in the breakroom. Flexibility to work from home at times. (If you live 50+ miles away from an office you can work full-time from home...policy).

Cons

They don't try to make the workplace anything special (maybe a pool table and arcade game are cliche or gimmicky?). In the 10 years I've worked there, they've given 2 measly %1 cost of living raises (this is the same with most everyone I've spoken to, some don't get any raises). You will not get a substantial raise ever, unless you leave then get rehired on (they will not match offers, better to leave). New employees that you train will make 10 - 20K more than you several years after you hire on (not just me, they do this to all tenured employees). They will give these untrained, less experienced people higher titles (again this is done to everyone not just me). You learn pretty quickly that you're dispensable. The company has billions in cash and they don't re-invest in their employees, just in acquiring new companies and hiring new people that know nothing that you get to train.
