Pros
consistent employment, few layoffs - although constant job off-shoring leads to MANY group re-organizations and re-assignments.
Cons
A massive company, that has a corporate-wide, long-standing habit (unofficial policy?) of almost never giving pay increases. At first I though I was just overhearing the grumbling of a few "bad apples". However, the quantity of complaints, my stagnant pay over the past years (combined with excellent reviews, and even advancing into a top tier support group) have all convinced me that I can no longer afford to lose financial ground to the 'standard cost of living' with Oracle.
