Pros

NONE unless you like sitting in front of a computer for 12 hours trying to get in 8 hours just to make less than minimum wage

Cons

Where do I begin? Pay is horrible. When you are working full time and you have to get food stamps it is considered volunteer work!! There "new and exciting" pay grid is ridiculous. What company has a grid to figure out your pay from week to week? What company penalizes you financially if you make an error? The list goes on and on. I would not advise anyone to work for this company. Nuance knows ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT TRANSCRIPTION!! They are a SOFTWARE COMPANY and they are deceiving all these hospitals about how great their software is and how much money they can save.and outright LYING to the transcriptionists. Because of this company, I am taking early retirement just to out of this hell hole!! At least when I retire I will have money to pay my rent and maybe even get a part time job that does not financially penalize you for making an error!!!.

Pros

The company offers excellent training and a thorough onboarding process, helping new hires feel well-prepared and confident. The small, close-knit teams foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where you never feel lost in the crowd. Employees take pride in the innovative technology and software being developed, which is recognized as impactful within the industry. (Note: The company was acquired by Microsoft to bring potential for future growth.)

Cons

While the company excels in many areas, there’s limited upward mobility, especially in certain career paths, which can be frustrating for those seeking advancement. Additionally, feedback from employees often feels like it’s not taken seriously, which can lead to disengagement when trying to influence change or improve processes.
