Pros

Nothing that I can think of. Probably some of the coworkers (specially Joe)

Cons

People were toxic, Bad work culture, Micro Managing to the fullest, Not enough training so basically after doing all the unnecessary first day stuff I was put in to work and I had to learn all the stuff with me asking questions from other staff who would probably busy with other customers. I forgot my passcode for the door that you come in and go out, so i asked this other guy to come and send me out. This manager who saw this flipped and yelled for this slight mistake. This was like my 4th day or so. So the next day i brought my passcode but It didnt work at the door after trying so many times. I told this to this security personal who then tried the code himself but didnt work. Then he asked me to come along with him to other entrance where we met the manager who yelled at me other day (She was the one who recruited me and she was nice then, I soon realize how fake can people be) and she thought I forgot it again, So again she started yelling before I could even explain which was very rude and the security guy told her that my code genuinely didnt work. She didnt even apologize which was very unprofessional and asked me to go inside. Thats it. Things like this happened numerous times so that led me to quit after 5-6 days of working. I could go on and on but the bottom line is dont work there unless you absolutely have to.

Pros

Decent base pay, somewhat autonomous, great tip potential.

Cons

The company has changed for the worse since COVID. When I came back the mood of the entire store had shifted. Gone were the days of comradery, customer focus, and taking pride in a job well done. In its place there is a new culture of cutthroat sales, a severe decline in customer focus, and worst of all a new focus on profit over customer satisfaction. When I was told that the amount the store charged for a shoe shine was not enough to do the best job I could for a customer I knew things had gone downhill for the company. Not to mention I watch a manager prey on a mentally disabled person in order to secure a sale, when the person could not understand what was being offered. Sad that such a once great company is now just another greed ridden corporation.
